## Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will serve as a vital link in the project’s lifecycle, ensuring that all power plant systems are fully functional, safe, and optimized for performance. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* System Testing and Analysis: Executing comprehensive testing procedures, including motor solo runs, fan and pump testing, and rigorous load testing.
* Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex mechanical challenges involving pumps, fans, valves, and other critical plant equipment.
* Site Management: Overseeing onsite field observations, preparing detailed status reports, and proactively monitoring emerging site issues.
* Commissioning Coordination: Managing and coordinating the end-to-end commissioning process for power plant systems to ensure alignment with project timelines.
* Technical Instrument Proficiency: Utilizing specialized tools such as vibration meters, temperature guns, and standard mechanical diagnostic equipment to verify system integrity.
## Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this challenging environment, candidates must demonstrate a strong technical background and a proactive work ethic. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
* Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the power plant, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), or heavy construction sectors.
* Preferred Experience: Prior experience working with Korean companies is highly valued and will be considered an added advantage.
* Language Skills: Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and oral, to facilitate clear technical communication.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and professional familiarity with CAD software or other engineering-related drawing tools.
## Terms of Employment
This position is based at our Site Office in Suralaya, Cilegon, Banten. Applicants must be prepared for the following terms:
1. Work Location: The position is strictly based at the Suralaya site office.
2. Rotation Policy: This role does not offer a rotational schedule.
3. Contract Status: Successful candidates will be engaged as contract employees.
