## Key Responsibilities and Role Expectations
As a Costing Analyst within the Management Trainee program, you will play a vital role in bridging technical manufacturing processes with financial accuracy. Your daily responsibilities will revolve around pricing strategies, cost evaluations, and cross-functional coordination.
* Quotation Management: Handle a high volume of daily Request for Quotation (RFQ) inquiries efficiently.
* Cost Component Calculation: Analyze and calculate comprehensive cost components—including material costs, labor costs, overheads, and tooling expenses—to determine accurate finished goods pricing.
* Process Alignment: Utilize your understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) concepts and production workflows to ensure cost feasibility.
* Data Synthesis: Leverage advanced spreadsheet capabilities to summarize and evaluate complex manufacturing datasets.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with the Sales, Engineering, and Purchasing departments to ensure competitive and accurate pricing models.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

Academic Background
* Holds a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or is currently in the 3rd or final year of undergraduate studies.
* Eligible fields of study include Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Accounting, or Engineering Management.
* Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 out of 4.00.
* Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Technical Competencies
* Cost Accounting Knowledge: Basic to intermediate grasp of costing principles, covering material, labor, overhead, and tooling costs.
* Manufacturing Familiarity: Comfort with RFQ workflows, BOM concepts, and overall production processes.
* Advanced Spreadsheet Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel—including VLOOKUP, IF formulas, Pivot Tables, and complex data-analysis functions.
* Technical Reading: Ability to interpret part drawings and technical blueprints (considered a strong advantage).
* Software Familiarity: General proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and prior exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle.
Essential Soft Skills
* Language Proficiency: Basic to intermediate English communication skills (both spoken and written); possession of an English certification (TOEIC, TOEFL, or IELTS) is a plus.
