## Career Opportunity: Junior WTP/WWTP Operator
PT TJB Power Services is currently seeking a motivated Junior WTP/WWTP Operator to join its operational team. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our water-related utility systems.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the seamless operation of equipment and facilities within the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Makeup Water Plant, Electro Chlorination Plant, and the Sea Water Intake Area. Core duties include:
* Operational Oversight: Managing and monitoring equipment to ensure peak performance.
* System Coordination: Collaborating closely with the WTP/WWTP Control Room to synchronize daily activities.
* Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all system functions strictly adhere to safety protocols and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for candidates who possess a solid technical foundation and a proactive approach to power plant operations. Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: A D3 degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Conversion Engineering.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a power plant operational environment; however, high-potential fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
* Technical Knowledge:
* Fundamental understanding of water treatment systems and chemistry.
* Basic mechanical proficiency, including familiarity with bearing systems, hydraulics, and rotating equipment.
* Core competence in Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and electrical systems.
* Safety Awareness: Foundational knowledge of firefighting protocols and basic first-aid procedures.
* Communication: Proficiency in basic English to facilitate technical reporting and documentation.
